RedMagic 10 Pro Ready to Release, Brings Wukong Screen and Fast Chip
RedMagic recently confirmed the launch date for its next-gen gaming smartphone series in China, which is expected to include the RedMagic 10 Pro, RedMagic 10 Pro+, and RedMagic 10 Ultra. The latest series brings very interesting leaked specifications, especially in terms of the screen and increasingly capable performance.
Technical specifications
One of the most interesting leaks from the RedMagic 10 Pro is the “ Wukong ” screen which is claimed to be the industry’s first true full screen with a resolution of 1.5K. This screen does not have a notch or front camera hole, because the selfie camera is placed under the screen. This provides a more immersive visual experience, especially for gaming.
The OLED screen supplied by leading manufacturer BOE offers a high screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%. This means that the front display will feel very spacious and clean, without any notch or punch hole interference.
Besides, BOE manufactured OLED display also will debut on the Nubia Z70 Ultra gaming phone line, but will also be equipped with it in a few weeks. Recently, the RedMagic 10 appeared on Geekbench with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.
In terms of specifications, the RedMagic 10 Pro should feature a 7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,688 x 1,216 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an under-display camera. In addition, the line may feature an independent gaming chip and a PC-level cooling system for advanced thermal dissipation.
For power, the phones can feature a 7,050mAh battery unit and 120W fast charging. A few days ago, the RedMagic 10 Pro line models appeared at the 3C regulatory authority.
Release date and estimated price
The RedMagic 10 Pro and other models are expected to launch in the Chinese market on November 13. While there is no official information on pricing, the devices are expected to be priced in the range of $636 to $955 when they enter the Indonesian market, depending on the variant chosen and its specifications.
The manufacturer will announce everything already on Wednesday, November 13, and Chinese customers from selected areas who use free reservations will reportedly receive the selected model within half an hour after the press conference.
