Xiaomi Tablet with 12,000mAh Battery

Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch a new device with impressive battery and charging technology. According to popular leaker Digital Chat Station, the device features a dual-cell battery design with a total rated capacity of 5,900mAh. That means the device will have an impressive 12,000mAh battery. Additionally, it will support 120W fast charging technology, so users won't have to wait too long for the device to recharge.

The exact model has not been confirmed, but it is rumored to be a new tablet . Previous rumors have suggested that Xiaomi could launch an OLED tablet in 2025, featuring an 11-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a high-end Snapdragon processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and 120W fast charging. It will have a design similar to the Xiaomi Pad 6 series.

Sources also said that this tablet is not part of Xiaomi's Redmi series and is expected to cost around 4,000 yuan (US$ 550). For reference, the top-end version of the current generation Pad 7 Pro (12GB + 512GB) costs 3,499 yuan (US$ 480), indicating that this new tablet will be in the high-end segment, competing directly with the iPad.

Xiaomi launched the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro alongside the Xiaomi 15 series in China in October. Both tablets feature an 11.2-inch 3K 144Hz anti-glare LCD display with advanced eye protection and a paper-like texture for using a stylus. The Pad 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, while the Pro version uses a faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Let's wait and see what surprises Xiaomi has in store for its upcoming tablet lineup.
