Ray-Ban Meta and Doja Cat Debut First-Person Tour Documentary Shot Entirely on Smart Glasses
Grammy-winning artist Doja Cat has collaborated with Ray-Ban Meta to release MA VIE WORLD TOUR, a short tour documentary filmed entirely from a first-person point of view. Every frame of the project was captured using AI-powered smart glasses worn directly by Doja Cat and members of her touring crew.

Directed by Quinn Whitney Wilson, the approximately 12-minute documentary chronicles the European leg of the tour across seven countries. The film offers viewers an immersive, behind-the-scenes look into the singer's musical and artistic world, featuring candid footage from backstage waiting areas, live performances under stage lights, dressing room hair-and-makeup sessions, and everyday moments on the road.
To support the release, Meta is hosting a Doja Cat-themed physical activation at the Meta Lab LA retail space from October 17 through October 25. The installation features key stage outfits from the tour alongside the custom Ray-Ban Meta glasses she wore during performances. The exclusive hardware was built specifically for the Tour Ma Vie run, utilizing the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) Zena frame as its foundation.

Visitors at the Los Angeles venue can test the full consumer lineup of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Those who purchase a pair during the activation receive limited-edition Doja Cat merchandise while supplies last, including a branded lens cloth and a custom-engraved protective case.
MA VIE WORLD TOUR officially premieres on Doja Cat's YouTube channel on October 23. The broader promotional rollout aligns closely with several key milestones, including the singer's birthday on October 21 and her concert stop at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on October 22.
As smart glasses become increasingly capable of capturing stabilized, high-resolution video, how do you see hands-free wearable cameras impacting concert documentation and behind-the-scenes storytelling compared to traditional camera crews?
