Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold: New Renders Show Two Color Variants
During this event, the company is expected to unveil the Pixel 9 Pro Fold , its latest foray into the world of foldable smartphones. While we’ve already seen the device in all its glory, both officially and unofficially, the rumors continue to circulate incessantly. Now, further leaked images have emerged, giving us a clear look at the device, revealing a sleek design in Obsidian and Porcelain colorways.
Design and display
The design of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is more of a classic foldable phone than its predecessor . The outer display has a higher screen-to-body ratio and resembles a traditional phone appearance. There is a punch-hole camera in the middle of the display, surrounded by symmetrical frames on all sides. The inner display is also surrounded by symmetrical frames, and the selfie camera is located in the upper right corner.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold may offer a better grip thanks to its rounded corners. On the back panel, there is a rectangular camera island with two pill-shaped cuts that house three sensors and an LED flash. The volume up/down and power buttons are placed on the right edge of the device. According to the leaked render images, the device will be available in Obsidian and Porcelain color options.
According to other leaked information, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will come with a 6.3-inch outer display and a large 8-inch inner Super Actua display. The camera system will consist of a 48MP main, 10.5MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP telephoto sensors. The device will be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset supported by 16GB of RAM and will feature Gemini AI technology.
Google's new foldable device aims to offer higher performance and user experience than previous models. In particular, thinner and symmetrical frames will allow users to benefit from a larger screen area. Obsidian and Porcelain color options are also designed to appeal to users' aesthetic preferences. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold seems to reinforce Google's claim in the foldable phone market.
