Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra RAM and Storage Options Revealed In Advance
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, with all three models equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. However, it seems that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be significantly upgraded in some other aspects.
According to information from leaker Jukanlosreve on Twitter, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have three configuration versions: 12GB RAM/256GB memory, 16GB RAM/512GB memory, and 16GB RAM/1TB memory.
This isn’t the first time rumors have emerged about the S25 Ultra getting a RAM upgrade. A leak back in September suggested that at least one version of the device would have 16GB of RAM.
With this upgrade, the mid-range and high-end versions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be on par with some competing devices like the Google Pixel 9 Pro series and the high-end version of the OnePlus 12. While Samsung hasn't revealed specifically how it will take advantage of this abundant RAM, it's likely that some of the RAM will be dedicated to Galaxy AI features.
For the rest, the S25 Ultra seems to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor. The main evolutions would concern the integration of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the battery and the screen would remain unchanged. The leaks also suggest a more rounded design, abandoning the sharp edges characteristic of the series.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in January, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite powering the entire lineup. The next few weeks will certainly tell us more about what exact innovations Samsung has in store for us.
