At Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, be quiet! introduced the Light Base 500 (LX) case, the latest addition to its Light Base family, known for its dual glass panels and aesthetic appeal. This mid-tower ATX-compatible case is designed to support high-end components, including processors with up to 170mm tall coolers, graphics cards up to 410mm in length, and power supplies up to 200mm long. It also comes with four 120mm fans and supports 360mm radiators for liquid cooling setups.

One of the standout features of the Light Base 500 (LX) is its unique right front diagonal fan mount. This design houses three 120mm reverse-leaf fans at an angle that improves airflow to the graphics card, enhancing cooling performance. Additionally, the bottom fan position is integrated into the case design, offering a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing look.

Compared to the previous Light Base 600/900 series, the Light Base 500 (LX) opts for a more minimalist design, omitting the large ARGB light strips that were present in earlier models.
