Akko Unveils the Nest: An Ultra-Lightweight 49g Tri-Mode Ergonomic Gaming Mouse

On November 3rd, the peripheral brand Akko introduced its latest innovation in the gaming mouse market: the Nest. This new right-handed ergonomic gaming mouse is specifically engineered for users with small to medium-sized hands, offering a blend of high performance and comfortable design.

A standout feature of the Akko Nest is its incredibly lightweight build, tipping the scales at just 49 grams. The design incorporates a unique honeycomb pattern on its underside, contributing to its minimal weight without compromising structural integrity. This thoughtful construction makes it suitable for a variety of grip styles, including fingertip, claw, and palm grips, ensuring comfort during extended gaming sessions.

Under the hood, the Akko Nest is powered by a Nordic main controller platform and features the high-end PixArt PAW3950 optical sensor, which is rated for 3000DPI. To ensure long-lasting durability and responsiveness, the left and right mouse buttons are equipped with micro switches that boast a lifespan of 100 million clicks.

Versatility is another core aspect of the Nest, which offers tri-mode connectivity. Users can choose between a wired USB-C connection, a low-latency wireless 2.4GHz connection, or a convenient wireless Bluetooth mode. For competitive gamers seeking maximum performance, both the wired USB-C and wireless 2.4GHz modes support an impressive 8000Hz polling rate for near-instantaneous response times.

The package includes a 1.7-meter paracord cable for a flexible, drag-free wired experience. The mouse is powered by a built-in 250mAh battery, and its settings can be fully customized through Akko's dedicated software.
