AYANEO Flip 1S DS: New Dual-Screen Pocket PC Is Presented

AYANEO has presented a full-fledged presentation of the Flip 1S DS pocket personal computer, which differs from other portable systems by having two displays with different characteristics, and is based on one of the best mobile processors AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
The main display relies on an OLED matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 800 nits, while the secondary one has an IPS matrix and a resolution of 1620x1080 pixels. The diagonal is also different: 7 inches versus 4.5 inches, respectively.

The amount of RAM is not disclosed, but it is said that LPDDR5x chips are used, and one M.2 2230 solid-state drive based on PCI Express 4.0 is provided for storing user files. A large evaporation chamber with fans is responsible for cooling the components.

The manufacturer also worked on the controls. For example, it notes the upgraded electromagnetic sticks with TMR sensors, a 1000 Hz polling rate, and the Hall effect. It claims that there is no dead zone or drift. Other design advantages include an improved stepless hinge, which allows users to freely change the angle of the main display.

The device is charged using two USB4 Type-C ports with support for fast charging and external peripherals, and for non-disassemblable storage expansion, you can use the microSD slot. Wireless networks are represented by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3. The software is the Windows 11 operating system and the proprietary AYASpace 3.0 software.
The recommended price and release date for the AYANEO Flip 1S DS pocket personal computer have not been disclosed.
