Hyper Launches Advanced HyperSpace Trackpad Pro for Windows with 240Hz Report Rate

For a long time, desktop users on the Windows operating system have predominantly relied on mice for cursor movement and input. The market has seen a relative scarcity of high-quality, standalone trackpads that offer a premium experience for Windows users.

HyperSpace Trackpad Pro

Addressing this gap, creative peripheral company Hyper announced on October 14th in California the launch of its industry-leading HyperSpace Trackpad Pro, designed specifically for Windows users. This new device incorporates third-generation piezoelectric haptic technology, boasting an impressive 240Hz report rate, full-range force sensing, and a wide array of customization options.

The HyperSpace Trackpad Pro features a sleek glass exterior and utilizes the piezoelectric effect for input, forgoing traditional mechanical switches. This advanced technology, combined with its force-sensing capabilities, allows for a much richer and more nuanced range of interactions based on how lightly or firmly the user presses on the surface.

To enhance productivity right out of the box, the trackpad comes pre-loaded with configuration profiles for popular applications like the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Figma. Users can further tailor their experience using the companion Hydra Connect software to create custom force-press zones and shortcuts, streamlining their workflow.

In terms of specifications, the HyperSpace Trackpad Pro measures 166.9 x 103.4 x 13.0 mm. It offers flexible connectivity options with both wired USB-C and wireless Bluetooth 5.2. The device is powered by a built-in 1000mAh battery, which provides approximately 3 to 4 weeks of daily wireless use on a single charge.

The HyperSpace Trackpad Pro has officially launched on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. Interested backers can acquire the device at the lowest available early bird price of $109.
