iPhone SE 4 Could Launch In a Few Days - Bloomberg Reports

iPhone SE 4 Launch

Apple last updated the iPhone SE three years ago, but it Is no longer sold in Europe because it lacks a USB-C port. But there is good news: a new iPhone SE is coming. There have been rumors about the iPhone SE 4 for a long time, including when it might be announced. Now, it looks like we only have to wait a little longer.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that Apple could unveil the new iPhone SE next week via a press release, with sales set to begin in late February.

What to expect from the iPhone SE 4?

In terms of changes, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature the same design as the iPhone 14, but will have thinner bezels and will remove the Touch ID home button from the iPhone SE 3. If the iPhone SE 4 is released as rumored, it will be the end of the Touch ID home button on the iPhone lineup.

Besides, this smartphone would integrate Face ID and use a USB-C port instead of a Lightning charging port, allowing it to be sold in Europe again.

The iPhone SE‌ 4 is special because it will be the first to use Apple's own custom-designed modem chip. Although Apple's modem chip is not as advanced as Qualcomm's, it is the first step for Apple to reduce its dependence on Qualcomm chips.

iPhone SE 4 specs

‌In addition, the iPhone SE‌ 4 will have 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence. It is expected to use the same A18 chip as in the iPhone 16. The rear camera will have only one 48-megapixel resolution, and the port will be changed to a USB-C port, which will allow it to be sold in Europe again.

With the increased specs, Apple is expected to raise the price of the iPhone SE‌ 4. The current iPhone SE‌ is priced at $429, but it will be priced below $500, or no more than 16,890 baht, so that the iPhone SE‌ 4 can compete with lower-end smartphones from Samsung and Google.

Gurman expects Apple to unveil the ‌iPhone SE‌ 4 around the same time as the PowerBeats Pro 2 headphones, which Apple plans to unveil on February 11.
