I have been trying to use this flashlight for random tasks around the house, and trying to find excuses to use it daily, so that I could give a nice and thoughtful review. It is very bright and the presentation of the packaging was very well thought out. I will go over it in more detail shortly.
Unboxing & Packaging
The packaging feels premium and its clear that Olight had put some effort into its presentation. Everything was organized very cleanly and it feels like you are opening a high tech product and not a flashlight. I have only ever had flashlights from hardware stores so even opening it feels like a world of difference.
The Baton 4 Pro feels very solid in hand with a premium look and nice knurling along the handle. The mounting system in the packaging was nice too which allows to mount the flashlight nicely on a wall or workspace which make it very practical. It comes with the wireless magnetic charger, similar to an apple watch charger, but no USB C charging cable was included in the box. There is an LED on the magnetic charger, which doesn't add any functionality for me, but it looks cool at least?
Features and Performance
The back end is magnetic, which for some reason my 16 month old loves when I attach it to the fridge. He claps every time I do that LOL. The flashlight has multiple modes for brightness which include, moonlight, medium, high, turbo, and strobe.
I mostly used moonlight or high. There is a clip along the side which makes it easy to clip onto…
