beyerdynamic’s AVENTHO Y Brings 90-Hour Battery Life to a New Wireless Over-Ear Headphone
beyerdynamic has launched the AVENTHO Y, a new wireless over-ear headphone that combines ANC, Bluetooth 6.0, and a long battery life focused on everyday listening rather than studio use.
The AVENTHO Y is priced at $149.99 in the U.S. and €149 in Europe. It comes in four colors: Liquid Black, Blue Fusion, Peach Blush, and Soft Jade.

AVENTHO Y uses a 45mm dynamic driver and a closed over-ear design. beyerdynamic says the goal is to blend the brand’s signature sound with a more modern, personal look.
The headphone also supports multipoint Bluetooth 6.0, which lets users stay connected to multiple devices at once. That makes it easier to jump between a phone, laptop, or tablet without constantly reconnecting.
Battery life is one of the biggest selling points. beyerdynamic says the AVENTHO Y can last more than 90 hours with ANC off and more than 60 hours with ANC on. For buyers who hate frequent charging, that is a very strong claim for a wireless ANC headphone in this price range.
Designed to Last Longer Than a Typical Consumer Headphone
beyerdynamic is also leaning into repairability and longevity.
The AVENTHO Y includes a replaceable battery and interchangeable ear cushions, which should make it easier to keep using over time. That is not always common in mainstream consumer headphones, where worn-out pads or aging batteries often push users to replace the whole product.
The headphone weighs 316 grams and charges through USB-C. beyerdynamic also says an upgrade kit will arrive in October, including a USB-C adapter and a matching microphone.
