Gigabyte First to Introduce BIOS Support for Next-Gen Intel LGA1700 Processors on H610 and B760 Motherboards
Gigabyte has taken the lead as the first major motherboard vendor to officially provide compatibility support for Intel's upcoming next-generation Socket FCLGA1700 processors. This support now extends to its entry-level and mainstream motherboards with the Intel H610 and B760 chipsets, offering a notable upgrade path for users on these platforms.

According to the official announcement, the corresponding UEFI BIOS firmware updates enabling this compatibility have already been released and are currently available for download across affected motherboard product pages.
The processors highlighted in the release correspond to the desktop edition of "Raptor Lake Next." These upcoming chips are not expected to feature fundamental microarchitectural overhauls, effectively serving as an extended iteration following the previous "Raptor Lake Refresh" generation.
Reports indicate that this next-generation LGA1700 hardware rollout is targeted for release in early 2027, continuing support for the long-standing socket architecture and keeping compatible platforms viable across mainstream desktop environments.
