Nubia Focus 2 5G Design Leaked In Certification

A recent report reveals that Nubia is working on a successor to the Nubia Focus, tentatively named the Nubia Focus 2 5G. The smartphone has been spotted on the certification authority with the model number Z2462N.  In addition, it also shows what the smartphone looks like.

To recall, the nubia Focus was launched earlier this year as a budget smartphone, featuring a 108MP camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. It also introduced a Pro variant that enhanced the display from a 6.56-inch HD+ to a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ (both equipped with IPS LCD technology), added Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for the 108MP camera, and included a 5MP ultra-wide lens.

From the leaked photo, the phone appears to have three lenses. Interestingly, the Nubia Focus 5G only had two, a 108-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. One bet is that its successor will have an ultrawide sensor.

Additionally, a Wi-Fi certification indicates that the device will run on "Android V," the codename for Vanilla Ice Cream, corresponding to Android 15. It confirms compatibility with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, as well as Wi-Fi 5. However, the Bluetooth certification does not provide much relevant information at this time.

The Nubia Focus 2 5G is expected to offer modern connectivity features similar to its predecessor, while a previous leak suggests that ZTE is also working on a 4G variant of the device and that a Pro version will not be released this year.
