At its latest Galaxy Unpacked event on February 26th, Samsung officially launched its new lineup of wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro. 

The Galaxy Buds4 features a sleek metallic finish and a semi-in-ear design with a stem, available in black and white color options. The premium Galaxy Buds4 Pro also offers an exclusive gold finish available on the official website, providing a distinct look for the top-tier model.

At the core of the Galaxy Buds4 is an 11mm speaker, which, combined with Samsung's Scalable Codec (SSC), supports 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution audio. For a personalized listening experience, users can utilize a 9-band equalizer to adjust bass, treble, and overall tone. Call clarity has been significantly enhanced with Super Clear Call, a feature that uses six microphones and a Deep Neural Network (DNN) to isolate vocals from background noise. This technology leverages Super Wideband (SWB) to transmit audio at a 16kHz bandwidth between the earbuds and compatible Galaxy smartphones.

The Galaxy Buds4 introduces intelligent audio features, including 360 Audio for an immersive soundscape. Its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is now adaptive, analyzing the user's ear shape and fit in real-time to optimize noise reduction. The system can also intelligently balance ANC and ambient sound levels based on the user's current environment. Furthermore, when paired with a Galaxy smartphone, the Buds4 integrates with Galaxy AI for a personalized Live Translate feature, delivering real-time translations directly to the listener's ears.

Samsung has also improved user interaction with new intuitive gesture controls. Users can now answer calls or interact with Bixby by simply nodding or shaking their head, allowing for a hands-free experience. The charging case for the Galaxy Buds4 supports wireless charging, though the wireless charging pad is sold separately.

For those seeking the ultimate audio experience, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro offers several key upgrades over the standard model. It is equipped with an enhanced two-way speaker system and dual amplifiers to deliver high-fidelity sound that is true to the original recording. The Pro model includes three different sizes of silicone ear tips to ensure a secure fit and minimize sound distortion. Additionally, it supports advanced features like Voice Detect and Alert Sound Detection, further distinguishing it as the premium option in the lineup.
