Following the recent appearance of three new vivo devices—the X500, X500e, and X500 Pro—in the GSMA IMEI database, a new top-tier model has just joined the list. According to a report from tech media outlet SmartPrix, the database was updated today to include the vivo X500 Pro Max, signaling the arrival of a potential new flagship.

The addition of the X500 Pro Max suggests it will be the most powerful and feature-rich device in the upcoming X500 series. The "Pro Max" suffix is a strong indication that vivo aims to push the limits with this model, likely focusing on significant upgrades in its camera system and overall performance to compete at the highest level.

The listing in the GSMA database typically points towards a device intended for the global market. While this is an exciting development for international customers, it's important to note that plans can shift in the fast-moving smartphone industry. Therefore, an official confirmation regarding the global launch schedule is still pending.

Adding fuel to the fire, earlier leaks from a Weibo blogger suggested that a new smartphone series would be the first to feature MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9600 chipset. The leak specified that the standard model would use the Dimensity 9600, while the Pro and Pro Max versions would be equipped with a more powerful Dimensity 9600 Pro. This rumored series is now widely believed to be the vivo X500 lineup.
