Mad Catz has officially announced that its next-generation gaming mouse, the M.M.O. 7+, has begun shipping to distribution channels. As its name suggests, this mouse is specifically engineered for Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) gamers who require a vast array of inputs. It boasts an impressive 21 programmable buttons, and this number can be effectively doubled using a Shift mode, providing an unparalleled level of command at the user's fingertips.

Under the hood, the M.M.O. 7+ is equipped with high-performance components, including the top-tier PixArt PAW3395 optical sensor and durable Kailh 80M mechanical switches. The mouse offers dual-mode connectivity, supporting both a wired USB connection and a 2.4GHz wireless option. In wireless mode, it delivers up to 40 hours of battery life. The total weight of the mouse comes in at a substantial 140 grams.

The extensive input system goes far beyond the traditional left, right, and scroll wheel clicks. The M.M.O. 7+ features a multitude of input points, including: forward/backward/down on the main scroll wheel, three buttons behind the scroll wheel (left, center, right), a horizontal scroll wheel (left/right), buttons on the top left edge and thumb rest, a versatile five-function 5D button, and four additional side buttons positioned around the 5D button.

To ensure maximum comfort and a personalized fit, the M.M.O. 7+ incorporates physical adjustability. Both the thumb rest and the palm rest can be mechanically adjusted, allowing users to tailor the mouse's shape to their specific hand size and preferred grip style, promoting better ergonomics during long gaming sessions.
