OnePlus 12: What we know after leaked images

OnePlus rarely fails to capture the attention of smartphone lovers, and this week they've managed to create another storm after renowned blogger, OnLeaks, dropped a set of renderings of the highly anticipated OnePlus 12.

Known for their accurate predictions, OnLeaks’ revelations indicate that the upcoming OnePlus 12 flagship will not disappoint. But then again, when has a leaked rendering ever disappointed us?

The overall design of the OnePlus 12 seems to retain the charm of its predecessors while promising improved optical capabilities. Because, let's face it, we all need to capture our food in stunning detail before we eat it.
The device maintains its curved design, with volume buttons on the left side and a power button on the right. It also incorporates a USB Type-C connector, a ringer slider, a main speaker grill, and a SIM card slot at the bottom. Because nothing says "seamless user experience" like a well-placed SIM card slot.

When it comes to specifications, the OnePlus 12 will apparently boast a 6.7-inch 120Hz 2K OLED curved screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, the device delivers exceptional performance and efficient multitasking capabilities.

The rear camera setup is also rumored to include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an impressive 64MP periscope telephoto lens. 
The smartphone will be the first OnePlus to feature a periscope zoom camera, as has been rumored a few times before. The camera module design is highly reminiscent of the OnePlus 11's, just with alterations required by the presence of the periscope.

These high-resolution sensors promise to capture intricate details and offer versatile photography options. On the front, the OnePlus 12 is said to feature a 32-megapixel camera, ensuring impressive selfies and video calls. Because if your selfie game isn't strong in 2023, are you even trying?

To support the device’s capabilities, the OnePlus 12 looks to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, ensuring prolonged usage on a single charge. Additionally, the device supports blazing-fast charging speeds with 100/150W wired flash charging and 50W wireless charging, enabling users to quickly replenish their device’s battery. 

While an official release date has not been announced, it is speculated that the OnePlus 12 may arrive as early as December, coinciding with the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3. OnePlus enthusiasts and tech enthusiasts alike eagerly await the unveiling of the OnePlus 12, expecting a device that combines cutting-edge features, superior performance, and an enhanced user experience. Because nothing says "Happy Holidays" like a new smartphone.
The OnePlus 12 looks like it is shaping up to not only meets expectations but exceed them. But only time will tell if the OnePlus 12 lives up to the hype. Until then, we'll just have to content ourselves with these tantalizing tidbits of information.
