What Are The Benefits Of An Air Purifier?

Feeling a little under the weather lately? Allergies and things acting up a little more often? It could be that time that there is more dust and pollen in the air bothering you, but it doesn’t have to be. In this wonderful age of modern technology, we can not only control the temperature of our homes but als the air quality, thanks to smart air purifying systems. What are the benefits of an air purifier? Let’s find out.

Removing Pollution And Allergens From The Air

Wherever you may live, you likely have to deal with pollutants and allergens of some kind or another. With an air purifier you will be able to literally pluck those pollutants and allergens directly from the air and not have to worry about breathing them in. Just being able to lower the ammount of pollutants I’m breathing already has me interested in getting an air purifier, clean air means a more comfortable life and a longer life. Limiting the amount of pollutants and allergens inside your house leads me to the next benefit.

Helping With Asthma

If you have asthma then you know that a multitude of things can aggravate your asthma, ranging from allergens, to pollutants, to even simple things like dust particles. With an air purifier though, we can take all of these things out of the air and make it easier to breathe in a room, thus limiting our likely hood to have our asthma aggravated. With an air purifier then, the only thing left to aggravate asthma is for those unfortunate enough that simply exercising aggravates it. If anyone has suggestions to get around that, feel free to let us know in the forum, it will be the holy grail of information for some people for sure as we try to stay healthy during this pandemic. Speaking of the pandemic…

Does An Air Purifier Help Prevent The Spread Of COVID?

Yes, somewhat. COVID particles are big enough to be captured by a HEPA filter (always make sure your air purifier uses HEPA certified filters). This means it will help to absorb, capture, prevent those particles from lingering in the air, helping to lessen the chance of exposure. However, it is not something that should be tested because lets face it, if you stand between the air purifier and your guest, those particles from your guest are going to get to you first before the purifier. So, for your safety and everyone elses, don’t rely on an air purifier to keep COVID out.

Helping With Pet Dander

Got pets? Or maybe you have a friend who has an adorable dog and they visit sometimes? With an air purifier it is easier to ensure the dander and lose hair from the pet is collected and not floating around to bother you.

Quality Of Life Improvements

So you don’t have asthma, allergies, or live in a place with much pollution so what else can an air purifier do to make life better? By justh helping to keep dust and particulates out of the hair and by creating an air flow in the house, it helps to keep the place smelling fresh, yay. It also can also help with improving your sleep. Of course if have asthma or allergies, improving those conditions will improve your sleep. But for everyone else, air purifiers also help to suck up mites and small particulates that could cause hay fevers and generallly helps you sleep by keeping them away from you.

What Do You Think?

We’re fairly well sold on the idea of an air purifier now. It will take some more research like any good consumer but we’re definitely interested now. How about you? Do you have an air purifier?
