iQOO 15 Ultra Design and Specs Revealed: A Look at the 'Future Pod' and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5

iQOO has officially lifted the curtain on the design of its upcoming flagship, the 15 Ultra. The new device showcases a striking aesthetic centered around a "Future Pod" DECO for the camera module and an all-new "Energy Blade" lighting effect. According to the company, this design language aims for a look that is both "simple and elegant," blending futuristic elements with a clean, sophisticated finish.

Adding to its unique visual appeal, the new phone incorporates an innovative "Texture on Fiber" technology. This is complemented by a hexagonal honeycomb energy matrix design on the back panel, which creates a dynamic, shimmering light effect that changes with the viewing angle, making the device's backplate come alive.

Beyond the official design reveal, recent leaks have painted a picture of a true performance beast. The iQOO 15 Ultra is rumored to be powered by the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor, paired with iQOO's self-developed Q3 gaming chip. To handle this power, the device will reportedly feature a top-tier configuration of 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The visuals will be delivered on a large 6.85-inch 2K LTPO Samsung flat screen, promising a premium viewing experience.

The camera system appears equally impressive, with a rumored setup including a 32MP front-facing camera and a powerful rear triple-camera array, featuring three 50MP sensors. One of these is a periscope telephoto lens with a CIPA 4.5 rating for stabilization. For gamers, the device is expected to include an active internal cooling fan to manage thermals during intense sessions, along with pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons for enhanced control.

Powering this hardware is a massive 7400mAh battery, supported by 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. The immersive experience is rounded out by 1115 coaxial symmetrical dual speakers, a 091640 dual-axis haptic motor for precise feedback, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking.
