Nothing Plans to Unveil Three New Smartphones In 2025
This year, Nothing unveiled three smartphones: the Nothing Phone (2a), Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, and the Nothing CMF Phone 1. Recent reports indicate that the London-based company is developing three new phones, expected to be announced in the first half of 2025. This information comes from Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) via a post on X.
What We Know So Far
Among the new devices is the already confirmed Nothing Phone (3), identified by the model number Nothing A059, which was spotted on Geekbench. This smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and will likely feature advanced AI functionalities.
Additionally, Nothing is rumored to be working on a Nothing Phone (3) Pro, which will likely get a more advanced chipset than the standard version. According to ITHome, this model carries the number A059P and has the codename Hisuian Arcanine. Speculations suggest it may offer a larger 6.7-inch display, a periscope telephoto lens, and be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 processor.
The specifics of the third phone remain unclear. However, it could likely be a successor or an updated version of the CMF Phone 1 (currently available on Amazon for $289), targeting the budget and entry-level market segment, while the Nothing Phone (3) and Phone (3) Pro focus on the mid-range and flagship categories.
While these three devices are expected to launch in the first half of 2025, it’s important to approach this information cautiously, as manufacturers often change their plans and may delay or even cancel products.
