In detail, the AR Lite Spatial Computing Kit features the Rokid Max 2 glasses and the Rokid Station 2 host, both powered by the Snapdragon platform. The Rokid Max 2 glasses weigh just 75g and offer adjustable diopters ranging from 0-600°, along with intelligent interpupillary distance adjustment.
The comfortable wearing experience of users is enhanced by the ultra-clear air nose pads and soft lens legs of this product. It is currently offered in Midnight Black and Dawn Silver colors. The Rokid Station 2 host integrates sensing, computing, and battery modules, allowing for easy one-handed operation.
The Rokid AR Lite Spatial Computing Kit also improves user experience by removing the physical front buttons on Station 2 and introducing multi-finger, multi-gesture touch interactions.
This allows users to easily switch from their mobile device habits when engaging with three-dimensional content. Moreover, the Rokid AR Lite Spatial Computing Kit includes an anti-shake mode specifically designed to address motion sickness problems.
Mingming Zhu, the founder of Rokid, also noted that it is very convenient to switch between spatial ray mode and finger touch mode. Users can easily switch to spatial ray mode by shaking the device vigorously, and switch back to touch mode by sliding two fingers on the device.
The Rokid Station 2 host runs on the Snapdragon platform, features a large 5000mAh battery, and includes dual Type-C ports that support 18W fast charging during operation.
The Rokid R&D team worked closely with Qualcomm to optimize performance, enhancing GPU rendering and AI computing on the YodaOS-Master spatial operating system. This collaboration ensures that the Snapdragon platform reaches its full potential and meets the demands of users more effectively.
The Rokid AR Lite Spatial Computing Kit is designed to enhance functionality and user experience in three key scenarios: home, travel, and outdoor activities. With a focus on innovation in gaming, large-screen viewing, and light office tasks, the kit aims to accelerate the adoption of spatial computing in the consumer market.
- With the Spatial Casting feature, users can easily cast wirelessly on the same network.
- Multi-screen mode enables multitasking collaboration, while the Super Giant Screen Display can create a 215-inch ultra-large screen from up to 6 meters away.
- Fast multi-device content sharing allows for quick synchronization of content between phones and the Station 2, as well as fast transfer of images, videos, documents, apps, and more across multiple Station 2 devices.
Rokid has forged strong partnerships with iQiyi, Evernote, XOSMO, and Diwei Technology to enhance ecosystem content, delivering a superior application and interaction experience for users.
At the launch event, founder Mingming Zhu revealed that Rokid has achieved a compound annual revenue growth rate of over 100% in the past four years. The revenue for the first quarter of 2024 saw a significant increase of approximately 150% compared to the same period last year.
With overseas revenue now making up nearly 40% of the total revenue, Rokid is poised for continued growth, with expectations of surpassing a compound annual revenue growth rate of 100% this year. This could result in a twenty-fold increase in revenue over the four-year period.
