Realme Brings 300W Wired Charging Technology to Phones

Although the wired charging war has recently died down, it is not completely out. According to the famous leaker Digital Chat Station, realme is developing wired fast-charging technology with a capacity of up to 300W.

Previously, Xiaomi's Redmi brand attracted attention when it introduced 300W charging technology in February 2023, with the ability to charge a 4,100mAh battery in just 5 minutes fully. However, up to now, no Redmi phone has been equipped with this charging technology.

For Realme, this brand currently has fast charging technology approaching the 300W mark on the realme GT5 and GT Neo5 duo (both have 240W wired charging). Realme's 240W fast charging technology also made a strong impression with the ability to fully charge a 4,600mAh battery in just 9 minutes and 30 seconds.

Therefore, it is understandable that the company continues to develop fast-charging technology with a capacity of up to 300W and this information has been predicted by experts in advance.

In addition to information about 300W fast charging technology, leaker Digital Chat Station also said that Realme's next flagship, GT7 Pro, will have IP69 dust and water resistance and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
