Huawei SE product line returns, focusing on the mid-range market
According to leaks from blogger @DigitalFocus, a new Huawei nova series phone codenamed "Cangshan" is set to be released, which is expected to be the nova 16 SE. It's worth noting that the SE product line within the nova digital series has been on hiatus in the domestic market for several years, with the last model being the nova 11 SE released in 2023.
On June 1st this year, Huawei held a launch event for the nova 16 series, introducing four models. Leaks suggest that the nova 16 series sold over 1 million units within 39 days of its launch—a very impressive achievement in the current market environment.

The Huawei nova 16 SE is positioned slightly below the standard version, with an expected price range of around $ 400. Leaks indicate it will come in four colors: black, white, orange, and blue. Its core selling point will remain imaging, as it is expected to inherit the Red Maple True Color imaging system from the Mate 70 series. This technology will enable the nova 16 SE to maintain excellent color reproduction even in extreme conditions.
The Huawei nova brand has always targeted young users, and the nova 16 SE's strategy is clearly to combine enhanced imaging, a trendy design, and an attractive price point. Redmi's new flagship arrives, competing for the all-rounder crown
After a relatively quiet first half in the flagship market, Xiaomi is set to launch a heavyweight product in August: the REDMI K100 series. Most of the series' specifications have already been leaked. The K100 Pro will feature the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme chip, a 185Hz high-refresh-rate Super Pixel OLED screen, a 200MP rear triple camera, 100W wired fast charging plus 50W wireless charging, and an 8500mAh battery.

The only remaining mystery about the REDMI K100 series is its price. Given the pressure from rising storage costs, this new Xiaomi device is likely to see a price increase. However, due to Redmi's value-for-money positioning, the hike is not expected to be substantial. It seems that under cost pressure, Xiaomi is focusing its resources on high-end flagships like the REDMI K100 Pro, which can maintain brand reputation and secure its target user base, even at the cost of lower shipment numbers for entry-level models.
iQOO sub-flagship targets the $400 price point
iQOO has always been a major competitor in the performance-focused market around the middle-level point. Following last year's iQOO Neo11, the iQOO Neo series is expected to launch a new sub-flagship model around August, likely the iQOO Neo11s.

According to current leaks, this new device will likely feature a down-clocked version of the Dimensity 9500 chip. Despite being underclocked, its overall performance remains strong, and when paired with up to 16GB+512GB of storage, it can handle high-load scenarios without issue.
Beyond performance, the iQOO Neo11s is well-equipped in other areas. It will feature a 2K resolution flat screen and include the popular 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. For battery life, it will house a Blue Ocean battery exceeding 8000mAh, supported by 100W wired fast charging. The phone will also boast an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating and come in three new colors: ChiGuang White, JiYing Black, and ChengFeng.
The strategy for this iQOO device, priced around $400, is clear: use a flagship chip from the previous year to power a current sub-flagship model. However, competition in this price range will be fierce, especially as older flagship models may see price drops and enter this segment with the arrival of new-generation chips and autumn launch events.
Honor Robot Phone is finally available for purchase
The Honor Robot Phone made a stunning debut at MWC earlier this year, becoming a highlight of the show. The phone's biggest feature is its camera system, which consists of a three-axis mechanical gimbal and a 200-megapixel sensor, creating a combination of embodied AI and imaging.
This mechanical structure allows it to track and focus on subjects with greater precision. Through a unique AI interaction method, it can generate corresponding dialogues in real-time based on external scenes, effectively giving the phone vision and transforming it into an AI hardware device.

The Honor Robot Phone made its first public appearance in China at WAIC 2026 recently. Now, Honor has officially announced that the launch event for the Honor Robot Phone is scheduled for August 12th. This means the phone will be released to the mass market, indicating that it will be mass-produced and available for purchase by general consumers.

Information on the official poster reveals that the phone was co-developed by Honor and ARRI. ARRI is a world-leading manufacturer of film equipment, used in the majority of commercial film productions. Google Pixel 11 pioneers 2nm with its self-developed chip
Google's ability to keep secrets has never been its strong suit. By the time Google officially announced the Pixel 11 series launch for August 12th (August 13th Beijing Time), information about the phone had already been extensively leaked.
According to leaks, the Pixel 11 series will include four models: the standard, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold. The starting storage for all models will increase from 128GB to 256GB, and a 1TB option will be added for all models except the standard version.
Of course, the core selling point of the Pixel 11 series is its self-developed chip, the Tensor 6. This chip will be the first to use TSMC's first-generation 2nm process, getting ahead of competitors like the Apple A20 Pro, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8E6, and MediaTek Dimensity 9600. Google's self-developed chips have long been criticized for heat and efficiency issues due to their manufacturing process, a problem that may finally be solved with TSMC's latest technology.

The CPU performance of the Tensor 6 is impressive, featuring an ARM C1-Ultra ultra-large core and six C1-Pro cores. However, its GPU is relatively weak, using a PowerVR GPU from 2021 that is somewhat lacking in both performance and efficiency by today's standards.
The cost of TSMC's latest process will also significantly increase the cost of the Pixel 11 series. According to industry sources, the 2nm process costs over 50% more than the 3nm process. Combined with storage cost pressures, the price of the Pixel 11 series is expected to increase by $100. Furthermore, some Pixel 11 models may see a reduction in RAM; for example, the starting RAM for the Pixel 11 Pro is expected to decrease from 16GB to 12GB.
