Lenovo has just launched a new gaming tablet in its home country of China today, called the Legion Y700 (2024). This is an ideal tablet for gamers as it has high-end hardware and many impressive features.

The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2024) features an 8.8-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, delivering sharp images at a pixel density of 343 PPI. The display supports an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth gameplay. It also supports a wide DCI-P3 color gamut and high color accuracy with DeltaE<1.
Lenovo's new gaming tablet also includes global DC dimming and a typical brightness of 500 nits. Additionally, it is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light performance and flicker-free, ensuring eye comfort for hours of gaming.
Inside, the Legion Y700 (2024) is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage for fast and efficient performance. It also features Lenovo's QianKun cooling system, with a large 10,004mm² vapor chamber that keeps the device running cool and stable even when playing heavy games for long periods.
The Legion Y700 (2024) has an optional Super Control Dynamic display that increases smoothness by 4.1x, reduces glare by up to 96.5%, and reduces reflection by 45%, making it a great choice for outdoor gaming. The tablet also comes with Lenovo's proprietary Lingjing Engine, which reduces touch latency by 32.2% and network latency by 45.8% in certain games.
The device includes two USB-C ports, allowing for simultaneous charging and wired headphone use, as well as supporting DP video output through one of the ports. It comes with two X-axis linear motors and two ultra-linear speakers that enhance the gaming experience with immersive sound and precise haptic feedback. The tablet weighs just 350g, making it easy for users to carry around. The Lenovo Y700 (2024) tablet runs on ZUI 16.1 and packs a 6,550mAh battery that offers up to 14.6 hours of video playback and 8.9 hours of gaming.
Charging has been accelerated from 45 W to 68 W. There is a bypass - i.e. you can play when the tablet is plugged into a socket without fear of overheating.
In terms of price, the 12GB + 256GB model is available for pre-order in China in Carbon Black with a starting price of $413, while the 16GB + 512GB version is available for pre-order in China in Carbon Black with a starting price of $470. The same configurations are offered for sale in Ice White for $427 and $484, respectively.
The Carbon Black color 12GB + 256GB model of the Super Control Dynamic version will be available for sale at a starting price of $470, and the 16GB + 512GB Ice White color will be available for sale at a starting price of $542. In addition, the official sale of the Carbon Black version will start on October 25, while the release date of the Ice White version has not been announced yet.
