Redmagic 9 Pro Series Is Coming With Flat Back Surface
nubia has announced that it will present the Redmagic 9 Pro series on Thursday 23 November. The Redmagic line is characterized by a clear propensity for gaming, for the new generation the Chinese company's technicians have focused in particular on improvements to performance, autonomy and display, elements underlined as central for the new generation also by president of nubia Ni Fei.
In the various previews published on Weibo, nubia also spoke about perhaps the most surprising novelty of the Redmagic 9 Pro series: the rear cameras will not protrude even a millimeter, an aspect that we have not been accustomed to for some time. Besides, the image of the side edge shows the air slot for the proprietary fan, which has long been used in the cooling systems of Redmagic flagships.
The company also managed to fit the cameras into the 8.9 mm of Redmagic 9 Pro, which already protruded very slightly on the Redmagic 8 Pro and 8S Pro. The new Redmagic will be perfectly flat both front and rear.
As per tradition now for the Redmagic series, even on the new ones the front camera will be drowned in the screen. According to rumors, the company has made further progress, and the camera should be even less visible as the perspective from which you look at the screen changes.
On the cameras of the Redmagic 9 Pro Digital Chat Station on Weibo he says that:
- The main rear camera will be 50MP with a 1/1.57-inch Samsung GN5 sensor and optical image stabilization
- For the ultra wide camera the 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with 0.64 micrometre pixels already seen, for example, on the Xiaomi 14 will be used.
There is little information of a technical nature, but on new generation products designed for gaming the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the control room seems certain.
Qualcomm's new SoC has no shortage of power, nubia will aim to dispose of the heat generated during the most demanding gaming sessions with a newly developed dissipation system . We will find out the rest shortly, in less than 10 days.
