The ESD420 can be magnetically attached to the back of a MagSafe - enabled iPhone, offering a "stick - and - use" design for intuitive storage.

Key Features of the ESD420 Portable SSD

  • Capacity and Compatibility: The ESD420 supports external SSD video recording for iPhones, allowing users to capture and store 4K ProRes video directly to the device. It comes with a maximum capacity of 4TB, making it suitable for extensive video recording sessions.
  • High-Speed Data Transfer: Equipped with a USB 20Gbps interface and SLC caching technology, the ESD420 delivers stable sequential read and write speeds of up to 2000 MB/s. During a live demonstration at the launch event, an iPhone 15 Pro was used to continuously record 4K ProRes footage for 30 minutes without any lag or dropped frames.
  • Durability: The ESD420's casing has passed the MIL - STD - 810G military - grade drop - resistance certification. Laboratory tests have shown that it can withstand multiple drops from a height of 1.2 meters onto a concrete surface and still function properly.
