Vivo's Next Flagship: X300 Series Leaks Point to a 200MP Main Camera and MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Launch

Rumors are swirling about the camera capabilities of Vivo's upcoming flagship, speculated to be the X300 series. Leaks suggest the device will feature a staggering 200MP primary sensor, potentially setting a new benchmark for mobile photography.

The upcoming vivo X300 series is expected to offer impressive camera specifications. The series is rumored to include a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 200MP main camera with a large 1/1.4" sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens (Sony IMX882) that supports 3x optical zoom.

Previously, the same blogger had also revealed information about a 6.3-inch small-screen flagship device undergoing periscope testing. This device features the Sony IMX882 sensor with 50MP resolution and 3x optical zoom, along with a new optical prism module, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, wireless charging, and top-level waterproofing capabilities. It is speculated that this device is likely the same as the one mentioned in the latest leak.

For context, the vivo X200, which was released in October last year, was the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor and had a starting price of 4299 RMB. The vivo X300 series is expected to be launched in October this year, with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. The starting price is anticipated to remain similar to the previous generation. 

The vivo X300 series is expected to be launched in mid-to-late September. Pricing predictions suggest that the starting price for the 12GB + 256GB version may be around 4299 yuan. This product is set to compete directly with the iPhone 17 series, Xiaomi 16 series, and OPPO Find X9 series, showcasing strong overall product capabilities.
