Google Pixel 10 Pro Design Revealed, Launching In August
Google Pixel 10 leaks have been circulating for a while now, and this time, someone has managed to obtain what is believed to be a prototype of the device. Images of what is supposed to be the Google Pixel 10 Pro have been circulating on Telegram, shared by Mystic Leaks from the Chinese social network "coolapk."
The Telegram message, which accompanied the nine images, read: "An early Pixel 10 Pro DVT 1.0." DVT stands for Design Variation Test, also known as the device prototype.
One of the images shows the Settings section with details about the phone showing "Pixel 10 Pro" along with a screenshot of the DevCheck app showing the phone running on Android 16 (Baklava). The DevCheck app also provides information about the "Tensor G5" chipset that supposedly powers the Pixel 10 Pro prototype. Its core configuration is "2x Cortex-A520, 3x Cortex-A725, 2x Cortex-A725, 1x Cortex-X4."
However, the screenshot also shows that the chip is manufactured using a 5nm process, which Mystic Leaks also points out is incorrect, as previous rumors have indicated that the Tensor G5 is expected to be manufactured using a 3nm process.
Besides, the image shows the phone from all angles, especially the back, where the pill-shaped camera bar stands out. Looking at it, it appears much wider and perhaps a bit thicker than the Pixel 9 Pro's. We can also see that it houses three cameras, a flash, and possibly a temperature sensor.
Additionally, Google appears to have confused the location of the SIM card slot and USB-C port. Based on the image, the SIM slot appears to have been moved to the top left corner of the device, while the USB-C port appears to have two identical speaker-like cutouts on either side. The phone comes in black or dark gray, with rounded corners and a glossy finish all around. Although we can't see its thickness in these images, it resembles its predecessor.

In another leak, Android Headlines appears to have information about the launch of these devices this year. According to the publication, the Pixel 10 series will be unveiled at the "Made by Google" event, which will take place on August 13 of this year. "The lineup will include the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold," the website added. However, it did not mention the source of the information.
The publication also claims that Pixel 10 series pre-orders will begin that same day. It also suggests that the new Pixel Watch 4 could be announced at the event. The website also states that pre-orders will ship on August 20, the same day in-store sales begin.
According to Android Authority, Google has invited Pixel Superfans to a 90-minute “Pixel Penthouse” event on June 27, 2025, in London, where 25 lucky attendees will get to experience “pre-launch Pixel devices and features first-hand.” Although the invite doesn’t mention the Pixel 10 series, analysts say it’s the star of the event.
This Google “exclusive pre-launch event” in 2025 suggests the Pixel 10 lineup could launch as early as late June or early July, significantly earlier than the Pixel 9’s August timeline.
Previously, Google also confirmed that it would launch the stable version of the Android 16 operating system in the second quarter of 2025, before the end of June, much earlier than the Android 15 deployment time. This is completely consistent with the possibility of a July launch for the Pixel 10 series. Let's wait and see what surprises the search giant will bring to fans.
