Following the official unveiling of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform at the Snapdragon Summit, Honor has wasted no time in confirming its next wave of flagship devices. The company announced that its upcoming Honor Magic 6 series and the new MagicPad 9 Pro will be among the very first products to feature this cutting-edge chipset, setting the stage for a significant performance leap in its premium lineup.

The announcement was made by Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., shortly after Qualcomm's presentation. This swift confirmation highlights the close strategic partnership between the two technology giants and signals Honor's ambition to compete at the highest level of the smart device market. The move positions the Magic 6 and MagicPad 9 Pro as highly anticipated devices for tech enthusiasts looking for next-generation power and features.

In his statement, CEO Zhao Ming emphasized the strength of their collaboration. "Qualcomm Technologies is one of Honor's most important strategic partners, and together we have created numerous outstanding smart terminal products," he said. He praised the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for its "breakthroughs in AI, CPU, GPU, and connectivity," which he believes will empower on-device AI to reach entirely new heights and deliver an extraordinary mobile experience to consumers.

Looking beyond smartphones, Zhao Ming also shared a glimpse into the future of the partnership. He stated that Honor plans to integrate Qualcomm's latest flagship platforms into a wider range of products, including future tablets and laptops. This long-term strategy indicates that consumers can expect more powerful and feature-rich devices across Honor's entire ecosystem, all powered by top-tier Qualcomm technology.

This confirmation was previously hinted at by Don McGuire, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Qualcomm Technologies, who had teased that Honor would be a launch partner for the new chip. Honor joins a prestigious list of global brands, including ASUS, OnePlus, OPPO, Xiaomi, and vivo, that are expected to release devices featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, promising a highly competitive year ahead in the flagship market.
