Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Will Receive Innovative Cameras and Screens
Samsung just released its Q2 results and answered all the questions from investors, and there is an interesting point about the Galaxy S25 which will use the top-of-the-market specs.
Daniel Araujo, Samsung MX VP, said that for the camera and display specs, Samsung, as the market leader, will have the highest upgrades in these specs. The company also prepared the best AP and memory in the market to enhance AI processing efficiency and premium user experience. However, Araujo did not reveal the exact specs of the Galaxy S25.
Samsung is a leader in OLED display technology. Its premium Galaxy S series typically uses the best panels available. The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 6.8” OLED display can reach a peak brightness of 2600 nits. More importantly, it uses Corning’s new Gorilla Armor glass, which reduces screen reflection by up to 75%.
With the Galaxy S25 series next year, Samsung could use the new dual-layer OLED technology, which was introduced with Apple’s M4 iPad Pro series, to achieve higher brightness and better power efficiency.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will upgrade the 3x zoom camera to 50MP, and the Ultrawide camera to 50MP, up from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the zoom camera has a resolution of 10MP and 12MP, respectively. Unfortunately, the Galaxy S25 and S25 + may not have any upgrades.
As for the chip, The rumor mill initially said it would be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but if Samsung can increase its Exynos chip production capacity, it could also see the Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.
The same goes for the Galaxy S24 and S24+. Samsung has confirmed that the Exynos 2500 will definitely be coming to the Galaxy S25 series, but it hasn’t said which models will get it.
On the AI front, Samsung said it is expanding Galaxy AI to include smartwatches, headphones, tablets, and smart rings, as well as operating systems, apps, and services. Galaxy AI will feature hybrid processing, or on-device processing for stability and speed, and cloud processing for high-quality results based on the situation. Of course, it has strong security.
