Apple targets carbon neutral global supply chain by 2030

According to Apple's official website in the United States, Apple issued a statement that it will take comprehensive measures to achieve decarbonization by 2030, and called on the global supply chain to solve the problem of greenhouse gas emissions.

Apple said in a statement that more than 200 suppliers, which account for more than 70 percent of Apple's direct manufacturing spending, have committed to using clean energy, such as wind or solar.

In all Apple-related production. Apple's key manufacturing partners, including Corning Incorporated, Nitto Denko, SK Hynix, STMicroelectronics, TSMC, and Yutong Technology, have pledged to power all Apple-related production with 100 percent renewable energy.

Apple will also accelerate collaboration with suppliers to decarbonize related production and expand investments in clean energy and climate solutions globally.
