Huawei Mate X6 to Launch With a New Assistant Celia on November 26
Huawei has confirmed that it will host the Huawei Mate Brand Ceremony event on November 26 in China. It will officially launch the Huawei Mate 70 line , which has been the subject of several leaks over the past few weeks. However, the Huawei Mate 70 line will not be the only novelty at the event. The Chinese manufacturer confirmed that the foldable Huawei Mate X6 will also be made official at the presentation.
AI features and new assistant Celia
After confirming its official launch date, Huawei has published a series of teasers where it confirms the main Artificial Intelligence-based features of the smartphone. In addition, the company also highlights the presence of the assistant Celia, which will be powered by AI to become much more proactive and useful in everyday life.
As you can see below, the smartphone should keep a small hole in the upper right corner for the selfie camera, and the edges of the folding panel are also thin.
In terms of AI capabilities, Huawei cites the option that allows you to translate documents with the help of Celia or even summarize texts, spreadsheets and entire web pages.
When editing documents, Celia can assist and add relevant information based on knowledge taken from the web, as well as detect conversations and indicate the best responses in real time.
If desired, the user can also give voice commands for Celia to provide the weather forecast, write a text, turn on a smart lamp or start a connected car. Last but not least, the user can also use remote gesture recognition to play interactive games, such as the basketball listed in the teaser above.
Colors and key specs leaked
It is worth remembering that the Chinese manufacturer opened pre-sales of the foldable on Huawei Mall and confirmed that it will be available in 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations.
The Chinese manufacturer also confirmed that the foldable will be released in Nebula Gray, Nebula White, Obsidian Black, Universal Red and Deep Sea Blue. Unfortunately, it did not provide any further details about the phone.
According to rumors, the Huawei Mate X6 will be launched with a 50MP main sensor, 12MP periscope, 40MP ultrawide, 1.6MP infrared and 8MP front camera, in addition to XMAGE technology.
Under the hood, the new Kirin 9100 chipset manufactured in SMIC's 5-nanometer lithography is expected. In terms of operating system, it will come with native HarmonyOS. The internal OLED panel should have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the external one should be 6.5 inches. However, it is best to wait for the company to reveal these details officially.
