OnePlus Buds Pro 3 Images and Specifications Leaked
OnePlus recently announced the new affordable 79 euro Nord Buds 3 Pro headphones in July, and in addition to that, new high-end in-ear headphones have already been expected in the rumors. Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the first details of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3. These TWS earphones are expected to go official with the OnePlus 13. In addition, the Smartprix website has revealed alleged images of the device.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 headphones are a continuation of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 headphones launched in early 2023 and will complement the new range alongside the OnePlus Buds 3 headphones that came to the market in early 2024.
Based on the image leak, the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro headphones are coming in two color options, which are black Midnight Opus and light Lunar Radiance. OnePlus has renewed the charging case in Buds 3 Pro headphones to a different, vertical model compared to Buds Pro 2 and Buds 3. In addition, the charging case stands out with its leather texture finish on the front.
The headphones still have a two-part finish, which combines the shiny stem part and the matte ear part. The headphones have quite visible L and R markings to tell about the left and right sides, in addition to which they contain Co-created with Dynaudio, telling about the continuation of the collaboration that started in the Buds Pro 2 headphones with the Danish brand known for its speakers.
In addition to the pictures, information about the characteristics of the headphones has been revealed at the same time. The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 charging case measures 6.5 x 5.2 x 2.6 cm and weighs 61 grams. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 headphones continue to offer sound reproduction with two elements, an 11mm woofer element and a 6mm tweeter element. Both have their own DA converter.
In addition to the usual audio codecs, LHDC 5.0 is also supported, which enables higher sound quality with up to 1 Mbit/s bit rate and 24-bit / 192 kHz support. Dynamic EQ is also supported, which offers the possibility to adjust the sound reproduction.
Active noise cancellation in the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is said to reduce external sounds by up to 50 db, compared to 48 db in the Buds Pro 2. The noise reduction adapts according to the sound level of the environment.
Calls with the new headphones are said to be up to twice as clear thanks to better noise cancellation. While, the battery life in the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 headphones together with the case reaches up to 43 hours compared to 39 hours in the Buds Pro 2. With a 10-minute quick charge, you already get 5 hours more listening time.
In terms of durability, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 headphones are said to be IP55 rated, i.e. practically protected from dust and resistant to water splashes and sprays. In addition, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 headphones will support the latest Bluetooth 5.4 version, connecting to two devices at the same time, and a minimum delay of 94 ms.
Since the OnePlus 13 could launch in December this year, it is likely that the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be made official at the same event.
