Samsung Confirms One UI 8.5 Global Rollout from May 11: Is Your Device on the List?
After months of anticipation, Samsung is finally rolling out the stable version of One UI 8.5. The update has already made its debut on the 2025 flagship models in Korea, including the Galaxy S25 series, Fold 7, and Flip 7.
The company has now officially confirmed that a much wider global rollout for One UI 8.5 will commence on May 11. Alongside this announcement, Samsung has shared a detailed list of the first devices scheduled to receive this major software update.

Samsung will prioritize the following devices for the One UI 8.5 update:
- Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, S25 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Flip 7 FE
- Galaxy Z TriFold
- Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE
- Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6
- Galaxy Tab S11, Tab S11 Ultra
- Galaxy Tab S10+, Tab S10 Ultra
All devices in this initial wave are set to receive the complete One UI 8.5 experience. This includes the latest system performance improvements, visual optimizations, and the brand-new suite of Galaxy AI features that will launch with the Galaxy S26 series. While some older models might not get every single feature, the core experience will remain intact.
Furthermore, Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 8.5 update will also be available for the Galaxy A15, Galaxy A16, Galaxy A17, Galaxy A25, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy A56. Unlike their flagship counterparts, these mid-range and entry-level models will not receive the advanced AI tools and camera enhancements.
Beyond the initial list, the One UI 8.5 update is planned for a wide range of smartphones across the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and Galaxy F series. The update will also extend to various Samsung tablets and the rugged Xcover series. Samsung anticipates completing the entire update process by the end of June.
