Foldable iPhone Ultra Color Options Leaked: Silver and Dark Blue
August 10, 2026 — Apple is widely expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone next month, and new leaks are already offering a glimpse at what could be the device's launch colors. According to the latest information, the foldable iPhone — rumored to be called iPhone Ultra — may debut in Silver and Dark Blue finishes.
Silver and Dark Blue for iPhone Ultra
Noted leaker Sonny Dickson shared images on social media yesterday showing two camera protector accessories for the iPhone Ultra, one in silver and another in a deep blue shade. These accessories are designed to cover the foldable iPhone's camera bump.
It's worth noting that these are third-party accessories, not official Apple products. They were reportedly produced by accessory manufacturers based on leaked supply chain information. However, Dickson has a solid track record when it comes to accessory leaks, adding credibility to these color claims.
From Dark Gray to Dark Blue

Earlier rumors from February suggested the iPhone Ultra would launch in "some kind of dark gray or black, along with white or light silver variants." Combining that with the latest leak, it appears Apple may have ultimately settled on a very dark blue for the foldable iPhone instead of the previously rumored dark gray.
This restrained color palette aligns with Apple's strategy for its first foldable device. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple plans to "stay away from fun colors" and stick to more traditional finishes, similar to the iPhone X which launched in just Silver and Space Gray.

iPhone 18 Pro Colors Also in the Works
Meanwhile, next month's iPhone 18 Pro is expected to introduce several new color options as well. Reports suggest Apple is developing Dark Cherry and Light Blue finishes for the Pro models, while continuing to offer a Silver variant.
Earlier rumors had also pointed to a Black option for the iPhone 18 Pro, but more recent reports indicate Apple may have dropped that color from the final lineup.
What to Expect
Apple's first foldable iPhone is anticipated to feature a book-style design with a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch outer screen, priced above $2,000. The device is expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September 2026, though supply may be limited at launch.
With just weeks to go until the rumored announcement, more details about both the iPhone Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro should surface soon.
