Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge Renders Leak, Revealing a Drastic Redesign and Massive Camera Bump

Leaked official CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge have surfaced, courtesy of leaker OnLeaks in collaboration with Android Headlines. The images provide a comprehensive look at the device's design from all angles, which is reported to be “basically the final design.”

The renders reveal a device with a flat display featuring a centered punch-hole camera and remarkably narrow bezels. The phone sports a flat middle frame with chamfered edges for a more comfortable grip. The right side of the device houses the power/lock button and the volume rocker. The phone’s dimensions are reported to be approximately 158.4 x 75.7 x 5.5mm. At its thinnest point, this makes it slimmer than the Galaxy S25 Edge, which measures 5.8mm thick.

The most striking feature is the back panel, which hosts a significantly large and prominent camera module. This bump, which brings the total thickness to 10.8mm, houses two vertically aligned camera sensors. The leak suggests a major camera upgrade, with the ultra-wide camera expected to be a 50MP sensor, a substantial jump from the 12MP sensor on the Galaxy S25 Edge and S25+.

Internally, the Galaxy S26 Edge is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which is likely the marketing name for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. It is predicted to come with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and multiple storage options. The device is also rumored to feature a built-in magnetic system to support Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic accessories.

Despite its thinner profile, the battery capacity is reportedly increasing from 3,900mAh in the S25 Edge to 4,200mAh in the S26 Edge. The phone is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar in size to the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Edge. The official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge is expected to take place in January of next year.
