This high-performance mini PC is set to debut on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform with a starting price of $1,899.

GEEKOM A9 Mega

The GEEKOM A9 Mega is housed in a sleek, CNC sandblasted aluminum alloy chassis with dimensions of 171×171×70.9 mm, giving it a total volume of just over 2 liters. To manage the power of the Strix Halo APU, it incorporates the robust IceBlast 5.0 cooling system, which features dual turbo fans and copper heat pipes. Internally, the A9 Mega is a performance beast. It comes equipped with up to a staggering 128GB of onboard LPDDR5x-8000 memory, providing exceptional bandwidth for demanding applications and multitasking. For storage, it offers two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for high-speed SSDs. The system is also future-proofed with the latest wireless standards, supporting both Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for ultra-fast and reliable connectivity.

The A9 Mega boasts a comprehensive selection of I/O ports. The front panel provides convenient access to four USB 10Gbps ports (two Type-A, two Type-C), an SD card reader, and a power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The rear panel is even more impressive, featuring two 40Gbps USB4 Type-C ports with DP 2.1 Alt mode, dual 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN ports, two HDMI 2.1 FRL outputs, an additional USB-A 10Gbps port, a legacy USB-A 2.0 port, an audio jack, and the DC-in power connector.
