OnePlus Ace 5 First Revealed With Super Thin Bezel Screen

Last month, OnePlus confirmed that it will launch the Ace 5 series in December. The brand is now slowly teasing the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro launch. Today, Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, revealed the real-life images of the Ace 5, and thanks to that, we get a close look at the design of this smartphone.

The new images show the Ace 5 with a flat display surrounded by ultra-narrow bezels. Unfortunately, the OnePlus CEO did not reveal any technical information about the smartphone's display. According to the leaked images, it seems to have a metal frame.

In terms of configuration, the OnePlus Ace 5 is revealed to have a 6.78-inch BOE X2 8T LTPO display that offers 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, the device uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and OnePlus has tweaked it for better performance, promising a great gaming experience with the same power consumption and heat management as the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to have 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It could be powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, and it will feature a triple camera setup on the back, which will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front will have a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The device will run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 UI and will feature an infrared port and an alert slider.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, expected to launch alongside the Ace 5, will feature the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is also expected to include a better camera setup with a 2x telephoto lens.
