Redmi K80 Pro Camera Specs Leaked Before Launch

Redmi K80 Pro camera information

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K80 series in late November in its home country of China. The series is said to include the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro models. Today, famous leaker Experience More has just revealed to us the specifications of the K80 Pro camera.

To recall, the Redmi K70 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 16MP OmniVision OV116A1Q front camera. The rear camera setup includes an OmniVision Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, a 12MP OV13B10 ultra-wide lens, and a 400MP OmniVision Light Fusion 0 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

Redmi K80 Pro camera information

According to the latest leaks, the Redmi K80 Pro's rear camera setup will retain the 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 primary camera. However, it will feature a 32MP Samsung S5KKD1 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera with 2.6x zoom support. On the front, the device has a 20MP OV20B sensor for users to take selfies and video calls.

Thus, the Redmi K80 Pro will bring impressive upgrades to the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras, improving flexibility as well as image quality for more shooting situations. In addition, the upgraded front camera will improve the quality of selfies, providing clearer and more detailed images than its predecessor.

Redmi K80 series design

A recent leak has revealed that the Redmi K80 series will feature a circular camera module similar to the Xiaomi Civi series. Under the hood, the Pro variant is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the standard K80 could feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The 3C certification of both devices suggests that they will support 120W fast charging. Both devices are likely to come with batteries of around 6,000mAh capacity.

According to other reports, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will feature flat OLED displays. The standard variant will have a 1.5K resolution and an optical fingerprint sensor, while the Pro model may support a 2K resolution and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Both devices are expected to run Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 UI.
