Xiaomi is gearing up to release its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi 17 lineup, and recent leaks have shed light on the battery specifications of these devices. According to a tip from a user, the Xiaomi 17 series will include three models: the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Here are the battery details for each model:
- Xiaomi 17: 7000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support and wireless charging capabilities.
- Xiaomi 17 Pro: 6300mAh battery with 100W fast charging and wireless charging.
- Xiaomi 17 Pro Max: 7500mAh battery with 100W fast charging and wireless charging.
In addition to the battery specs, the Xiaomi 17 series is set to introduce several innovative features. The Pro and Pro Max models will feature a new "Wonder Screen" on the back, which is designed to enhance user interaction and functionality. The series will also be the first to debut the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition mobile platform, promising top-tier performance.
During a recent live stream, Xiaomi's president, Lu Weibing, confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 series will not only include the Pro Max model but will also have an Ultra version in the future. He also showcased the L-shaped battery design of the Xiaomi 17 Pro series, which is engineered to maximize battery capacity by efficiently utilizing the internal space of the device. Although the exact capacity of this L-shaped battery was not disclosed, it is expected to be a significant upgrade.
Moreover, the back screen of the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is said to have cost a staggering 1 billion yuan to develop. It will feature the same high-quality emissive materials as the front screen and will be protected by Dragon Crystal Glass, complete with a pre-installed protective film.
