After being a die-hard Apple user for the last 8 years—always picking up the latest top-spec Pros—I started to feel like Apple wasn’t really offering anything new. Sure, the devices are polished, but beyond higher price tags, I wasn’t seeing much innovation.
I’d been quietly following NOTHING for the past couple of years, really loving the look of their design language and the specs they’ve been pushing out. So I finally made the jump and honestly, I’m so glad I did.
Design & OS
The phone looks and feels fantastic. The design is clean, unique, and seriously eye-catching. The operating system is smooth, intuitive, and easy to get used to even after years in the Apple ecosystem. The custom NOTHING widgets are a standout feature useful and stylish.
Display
The screen is massive, the colours are vibrant, and the clarity is superb. For everyday use, content creation, or just streaming videos, it holds its own against far pricier phones.
Camera – A Photographer’s Take
As a photographer, the camera is something I always take seriously when choosing a phone and this one delivers. The 50MP main camera captures incredible detail, and even when you zoom in, the image holds up really well. The colours are natural, and the dynamic range is impressive for a phone in this price bracket.
Video quality is solid too sharp, vibrant, and clean. While there’s no advanced stabilisation, at this price point (around £200), I really can’t complain.

Over all great phone. Takes good photos (night photos can be a bit grainy), software runs smooth. There are some app crashes but not many. The essential key is useful but in a horrible spot. When you put your phone in a phone cradle it hits the essential key every time. The screen is good in daylight. The battery lasts me pretty much all day with fast charging.
