The HeyUp Boxe lite is a good addition to people’s home media, providing a nice picture and a small form factor.

The whole body is made of sturdy plastic which feels of a high quality and the most important part is that I feature a ¾ inch thread at the bottom so that it can be easily mounted to a tripod.

At back top side you can find all the ports, which in this case are:

I feel that these are more than enough as you can plug in your pc/laptop via an HDMI cable (not provided) or transfer some media to a USB drive and use it on the go.

At the top of the Boxe are the power button and the focus adjustment ring, which rotates easily and without any hustle needed. Finally, is the front of the device, where you can see the big lens and the IR receiver.

Overall, the design is modern, clean and what I love most is the compact form factor that makes the Boxe easy to carry or store.

The HeyUp Boxe Lite relies on external power only and it comes with a provided power cable. Unfortunately, this device cannot work with an external source like a power bank, using a USB cable, but you can use it with an external battery with AC/DC outlet, but this makes the set even heavier.

I assume that the Boxe Lite is made to be used in home or the garden, gathering friends and enjoying some movies or sports events, where power outlet is present, so for me, it’s a no-no for camping.

Below is my review of the product ‘Heyup Boxe Lite Smart projector’. I start by saying that the shipping was perfect both in terms of timing and packaging. The outer box is of good quality and I also appreciate the coloured holographic stamped on the cardboard which makes it unique. The quality of the outer plastic is excellent, it has all the characteristics to withstand shocks, the ease of use of the remote control is also positive. Since it arrived I have kept it on every day to test the resistance of the LED lamp, using it for about 5 hours a day, maintaining a stable temperature between 50-60 degrees celsius, thanks to a fan placed on the side of the projector, which is not very noisy. The audio quality for sound diffusion is sufficient enough to listen to television conversations or music, the important thing is that there is not a lot of noise inside the room, it is a pity that the low frequency of the sound emitted is poor and during an action film the sound may not make the action perfect, calculating that the extension of the screen is excellent, I would advise to overlook this inconvenience, always connect it to an external audio source (home theatre or speakers).
