Keychron is once again pushing the boundaries of keyboard design by exploring novel materials. Following the launch of the K2 HE magnetic switch keyboard with a rosewood frame in 2024 and a full walnut wood special edition in late 2025, the company is continuing its journey into unique material craftsmanship.

In its latest 2026 release, Keychron has introduced two striking new special editions of the K2 HE: one crafted from resin and another from concrete. These new models offer a distinct aesthetic and tactile feel. The Resin edition is equipped with transparent PC keycaps in an OEM profile, while the Concrete edition features durable double-shot PBT keycaps in an OSA profile, catering to different user preferences for both look and feel.

As members of the K2 HE family, both keyboards are built for high performance. They feature Gateron dual-rail magnetic switches, which support a variety of advanced key functions and deliver a smooth typing experience. With a 1000Hz polling rate, input is registered with minimal latency, making them suitable for both fast typists and gamers. The keyboards also include three layers of sound-absorbing foam, north-facing RGB backlighting, and screw-in stabilizers for enhanced stability on larger keys.

Designed for both wired and wireless use, these special editions house a 4000mAh battery that provides up to 110 hours of continuous use in wireless mode, ensuring long-lasting performance without frequent recharging.

The Keychron K2 HE Resin and Concrete special editions are priced at $199.99, which is consistent with the pricing of the previous full-wood special edition.
