Nintendo Switch 2 May Bring a Long-awaited Feature With Its New "C" Button

Nintendo Switch 2 launch

The Nintendo Switch 2 hardware reveal is expected to happen soon, and leaks are pouring in from the Nintendo Switch 2 Discord. Insiders have found a new feature in the latest Switch OS code, which they believe is connected to the enigmatic "C" button on the right Joy-Con.

According to insiders, the feature is called "Campus," and it appears to be a group and voice chat system for the Nintendo Switch. The code suggests that it will support up to 12 users at a time, indicating that it may be tied to a paid subscription service.

Several leakers have noted that the Campus feature is not similar to the Miiverse social media platform, which was shut down in 2017. The Miiverse was a social network from the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS that allowed users to share content and communicate with each other, but it was discontinued after the launch of the Nintendo Switch.
