Patriot Launches EP Express microSD Card, Aimed at Nintendo Switch 2 Storage Expansion
Patriot has officially entered the microSD Express card market with the launch of its Patriot EP Express microSD card.

The EP Express microSD card utilizes a PCIe Gen3 ×1 bus and is backward compatible with UHS-I. It will be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities.
The card boasts sequential read speeds of up to 800MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 600MB/s. It also features a V30 video speed class and comes with a 5-year warranty.
Patriot states that the EP Express microSD card provides ample storage space for Nintendo Switch 2 players to accommodate AAA titles, DLC expansion content, and game saves. It also supports other handhelds, XR devices, drones, and high-resolution imaging equipment.
Furthermore, Patriot is planning to release a compatible microSD Express card reader.
