Redmi Turbo 4 Set to Launch This Month, Hints Redmi GM

Last month, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro in China. It is also reported that the brand is also working on the Redmi Turbo 4 phone to be introduced to users soon.

In a new development, Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas has just revealed that Redmi will launch a new device this month, with the keyword "Little Tornado". He seems to be referring to the launch of Redmi Turbo 4.

According to the leak, “Little Tornado” is the codename for the Turbo series from the Redmi family. The device will be officially launched this month, December 2024. Unfortunately, the release date of the device is still unknown. As the name suggests, the Redmi Turbo 4 carries impressive specifications in its class.

Other news says that Redmi Turbo 4 will be the first phone to launch with MediaTek's Dimensity 8400 chipset. This chipset is made using TSMC's 4nm process with a Cortex-A725 large core architecture at a CPU speed of over 3GHz. Not only that, this device also has Immortalis-G925 MC12 which makes it score almost perfect on the AnTuTu page, which is 1.7 million. This number surpasses its competitor, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

In the report, the Redmi Turbo 4 will feature an OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K. The 3C certification mentions that the device comes with 90W fast charging support. Another report also revealed that Redmi is preparing to release the next series, namely the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in 2025. This device will likely come with the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.

Regarding the price, the Redmi Turbo 4 is said to be priced at US$205 to US$275 at its upcoming release. In the global market, Redmi Turbo 4 and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro are believed to carry other names, namely POCO X7 and POCO F7. Unfortunately, this is still not confirmed. Unfortunately, Redmi has not given any leaks regarding the release date of this new device.
