AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D Appears: New 6-Core Zen 4 Gaming CPU Tipped for CES 2026 Launch

AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D

There are signs that AMD is preparing to further expand its Zen 4 product line, as a new processor named the R5 7500X3D has appeared on the website of UK distributor West Coast. The chip was listed with the ID 100-000001904.

Based on its naming and product number, this chip is expected to be a lower-specification version of last year's R5 7600X3D. The R5 7600X3D was initially launched as an exclusive product for Microcenter in the US before expanding to markets in China and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa). It is currently unknown whether the R5 7500X3D will have a simultaneous global release, but it remains a possibility.

While detailed specifications have not been officially disclosed, the processor is expected to feature a 6-core, 12-thread design. It is also projected to come equipped with 96 MB of L3 cache (composed of 32 MB + 64 MB), though its clock speeds will likely be lower than those of the R5 7600X3D.

This development follows AMD's recent launch of several entry-level Zen 4 processors, including the R5 7500F and R5 7400F, as well as the Ryzen 8000 series' R7 8700F and R5 8400F, signaling a continued focus on expanding its CPU portfolio.

With this new addition, the Ryzen 7000 series now features five X3D processors: the R7 7800X3D, R9 7900X3D, R9 7950X3D, R5 7600X3D, and the newly surfaced R5 7500X3D.

Looking ahead, AMD is also expected to launch more models for its 9000 series product line, including the rumored R7 9850X3D and R9 9950X3D. In light of this, Wccftech speculates that AMD might announce the R5 7500X3D at CES 2026. This would position the chip as a compelling new option for budget-conscious gamers seeking the performance benefits of 3D V-Cache technology.
