DJI Pocket 4 Leaked Again: Spy Shots Reveal 8K Video Support and Refined Design

New prototype spy shots of the highly anticipated DJI Pocket 4 have surfaced, offering a glimpse into the next generation of the popular gimbal camera. According to a blog post by tech outlet thenewcamera on October 23rd, the images were captured directly from the set of a promotional video shoot for the Pocket 4 in Barcelona, Spain.

Based on the leaked photos, the Pocket 4 prototype maintains the classic and compact design language of the Pocket series, but with some notable refinements. The most significant visible change when compared to its predecessor, the Pocket 3, is a subtle yet clear adjustment to the button control layout on the device's body, suggesting an optimization for user experience

The media outlet noted that the photos bear a watermark for "© Zhang Zhenhua Photography Studio." While this studio has no public official ties to DJI, it is speculated that they may be a third-party team hired for preliminary filming or content testing. This approach would be consistent with DJI's usual strategy of keeping new product preparations discreet.

Corroborating these visuals, a document previously leaked by source Igor Bogdanov in August provides further details on the camera's specifications. The document indicates that the base model of the Pocket 4 will weigh just 116 grams, significantly lighter than the 190 grams mentioned in earlier rumors. This weight difference suggests that DJI might release both a "Standard" and a "Pro" version. Crucially, the document also confirms that the Pocket 4 will feature 8K video recording capabilities, marking a major performance leap for the series.
