Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: Is It As Good As Qualcomm Promises?

Qualcomm recently gave testers their first hands-on look at their all-new smartphone chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit.

After getting a load down of all the new upgrades to expect in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, such as improved performance, faster GPU, smarter AI improvements, and enhancements for better photo processing, the testers were able to put the new chip through its paces for 2 hours.

While 2 hours not enough time for intensive testing we now have a better idea of just how much of the hype around the new chip is real, and it looks like it isn’t too far off the mark.
